Ray Banks- Negro League Ambassador

There are many wonderful individuals supporting the efforts to erect a statue to honor Negro League Player and Humanitarian Ernest Burke here in Havre de Grace. But we are definitely privileged to have Ray Banks as a member of our committee.

He’s a walking encyclopedia on the Negro Leagues.

Ray is the on the Board and is also Chair of Museum Collections and Exhibits at the Hubert V. Simmons Museum of Negro Leagues Baseball, Inc. (SMNLB) – a 501(c)3 organization. You can visit their site HERE.
